LABELS

Everyday we are put into boxes and stamped with a label . The world, many a time gives us upside down smile labels- you stupid, you good for nothing, failure, dying, sick,……
And we try to live up to these labels; providing others with a satisfied nod. 
Our young generation have been given labels.
ZILLENIALS, IGENERATION, GEN Z, ZOOMERS, SOCIAL GEN
There are more than 2.5 billion born between 1990 to 2010s; the largest generation on earth.
They have grown up with access to internet,  portable digital tech from a very young age.
These are the narratives and detailed labels further describing this generation.
More educated, well behaved, stressed and depressed generation
Suicide is the 4th most common cause of death among 15 to 19 yr olds
There is more use of psychoactive drugs; they are more concerned with academic performance and job prospects. However there is more sexting, more allergies , more sleep deprivation , more awareness of mental health problems , more diagnosed intellectual disabilities and psychiatric disorders .

They spend less time reading books . I remembered my nephew crying because I gave him a book for Christmas!
They have less attention span, less vocabulary  and so low school grades. They are not interested in fame and or community . There is less drug use and less pregnancies. They are more prone to self harm, have suicidal ideas, impaired cognitive function and more mental disorders .
The young men are more athletic and into politics while the young women are more into books and fictional characters . They have been diagnosed with more symptoms of ADHD, anxiety disorders and behavioral disorders
Gen Z prefer staying home watching tv , browsing social network than museums or galleries
Teenagers and young adults who prefer to stay up late tend to have high levels of anxiety ,impulsivity, alcohol intakes, and tobacco smoking
Many children and young adults feel afraid, angry and concerned about their future
And the Wikipedia’s list goes on. The future seems bleak and dark.
The young generation look into themselves so much that they cannot see outside themselves. And what they see inside themselves is wanting. They do not know how to satisfy that want except through the ways of the world- cutting themselves to take away the pain, drugs, pornography, food, no food,alcohol and still no satisfaction. The vicious cycle ends in suicide or slavery to satan.
Take your blinders off, turn 180 deg and look up. He loves you to the point of suffering and dying on the cross  so you do not have to suffer.
He says in Matthew 11:28-30
New International Version
28 “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy and my burden is light”

Remember friends what the world says is condemnation but what does the One who created you say about YOU?
1 Peter 2:9

9 But you are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, His own special people, that you may proclaim the praises of Him who called you out of darkness into His marvelous light”

Tell yourself God loves me as I am because Jesus has bought me with His precious blood and made me righteous with God
Young people, this is what God says to you:
1 Timothy 4:12 
Let no one despise you for your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, in conduct, in love, in faith, in purity”

2 Timothy 2:22
So flee youthful passions and pursue righteousness, faith, love, and peace, along with those who call on the Lord from a pure heart”

Jeremiah 29:11 
For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”

Isaiah 40:29-31

You may have heard of 15 year old
David who slay the giant Goliath and cut off his head ( 1 Samuel 17:48-51)
Or
of Joseph who was around 17 years old when he fled temptation from Potiphar’s Wife (Genesis 39)
Or
Daniel who was less than 17 when he was taken into Babylonian captivity. Yet he trusted God and stood bold in the face of his captors when he expressed about the specific diety laws God had given Israel (Daniel Chapter 1)

Joel 2:28

Today, as a citizen of the Kingdom of God,  I have a different label bestowed upon me. I am fearfully and wonderfully made. I am much more than the birds of the air  the lilies and grass of the field.
