1 Corinthians 7:16For how do you know, O wife, whether you will save your husband? Or how do you know, O husband, whether you will save yourwife?
I met my first husband while finishing university. Growing up in somebody else’s home, I wanted a big family of my own. And I said so with him but as soon as we were married he said he took a pact with his siblibgs that none of them would have children and the reason he really wanted to marry me was that I was not a Christian and he had to save me. I was married 30 years because I thought that is what a wife did.
I know the bible says the wife should submit and the question above really says by my conduct, I would save my husband
My question now is: as human beings, is it our purpose to save others ? I thought Jesus already did that and all we had to do was share that message.
